    Just had my Mazda 3 in for brakes that were squeaking and a transmission fluid change. Got a call from John a little after I had dropped the car off and he explained that my brake pads still had about 75% life left and that maybe the squeak was from dust getting wedged between the pad and rotor or the rotors getting a little glazed. Only charged me for half the labor that I had expected and got me dialed in. Could have easily just swapped the pads and rotors and never told me a word about that. What a stand up shop. Forgot to mention that he also gave me a $10 coupon on my service without me even asking for it!

    I will be taking all of my vehicles here for service and he has gained a lifelong customer for being an honest mechanic.

    Highly recommended to anyone in the Paso Robles area.
